We went up to the parade Saturday morning for Hunter's first parade. Last year she was there, but in my belly. That's her inside me, next to Obama. Wow, I was huge!
I can't believe it was a year ago and now she'll be 1 year old very soon, August 6th.
This starship float was pretty cool, notice in the picture after it that Teri's arm is holding up the geek "live long and prosper" sign. (I had to ask Brandon what it meant) Mark had to be sure to point that float out to Hunter for some reason.
Big horse and mini horse...
Fun close up!
The boys running for the candy! We scored, but probably would have done better without the mob of children next to us.
And then Saturday night after Hunter went to sleep we climbed up onto the roof to watch the fireworks display. It was even cooler being able to watch our neighbors kangaroos enjoy the fireworks too! Brandon's camera didn't get too great of pics though.

This was on our walk back home, this house has crazy overgrowth and crap on one side that has grown into the bamboo on the street side. See the van parked in there? Crazy.

Hunter just couldn't get any cuter. PS - i'm really disappointed you didn't know the 'Live Long and Prosper' sign. I don't even know if we can continue having a friendship....
I knew the sign and have seen geeky people use it, but I wasn't sure what it meant, other than something from Star Wars, er, I mean Star Trek. :)
