Labor day weekend in Medford Oregon

We took our first mini vacation with Hunter down to Medford (about 5 hours from us) to hang out with Brandon's uncles at his Uncle Jason's house over Labor day weekend. It was a small family get-together. They have a pool, and the weather was upper 90's the first day so we took advantage of the weather, well Brandon sure did.

Hunter had fun snoozing poolside, enjoying the shade.

She got some more rest with her Auntie Erin.

Her second cousin Alexa (on the right in the picture below) came up and swiped her pacifer once, which was pretty hilarious. His uncle Jason with his son Nate and his Uncle Matt are also in the picture.

They all did a white water rafting adventure on some Category 4 rapids that kicked their butts. While Brandon had many times before, these rapids threw him out of the raft. It sounded pretty tramatic for them and he walked away pretty banged up. Here is his leg a couple days later, after a trip to the ER and another doctors visit. The really deep wound got infected and he's on some pretty hard core anti-biotics.
