Sunday afternoon Wii fun
Brandon finally got his hands on a Nintendo Wii and we had some family fun with it today. Mark, Teri and Erin were over this afternoon for some Mario Party, tennis and some bowling. The cool thing about the Wii is that it's very interactive and physical. The Wii also allows you to create little characters of yourself, they are called Mii's.
Here are our Mii's: Me, Erin, Teri and Mark
It's a lot of fun. Well, it's always fun and laughs with the Cases, but include a Wii and it's fun times a million. :)

Note who has the highest bowlin score and the big #1 next to their head. :)
Here are some fun action shots of a 2 on 2 Tennis match:

Yard work
These pictures are from last weekend, we finally got out into our own yard to get some work done. I spent some time picking up dog poop so Brandon could mow with our new lawnmower and then I started working on my garden beds. I'm building raised beds for my vegetable garden, which I'm really excited about. Bring on the veggies!
The dogs were having a fun time too just chilling out, they love the big yard.
Cooper loves the longer grass:
Clyde was just chilling by the pool:
Cora was hanging out smelling the breezy spring air:Here are some pictures of Brandon and I. This one isn't the best of me, but you can see my cool new hat I got (I wanted green, but Brandon said pink was better.) and get to see my growing belly. We'll get some better belly pictures up soon enough.Monday, April 14, 2008
One big happy family
I keep forgetting to share this on the blog. My friend Manda is an awesome artist and she loves to send me doodles during the work day instead of working. :) We definitely email more than we should during the day, but it's fun and I get fun pictures like the one above to share with everyone. I love this one, although I'm not that big in the belly just yet!
Manda is also going to paint a mural in Hunter's bedroom, we'll definitely share some pictures of that when it's done. So far it's a toss up between an underwater theme or a space theme. I'm leaning towards underwater and cute sea creatures, but Brandon is too much of a geek at heart and wants outerspace. ;)

Attack of the pregnant hormones!!!
Brandon just couldn't keep his mouth shut when he should of and I told him who's boss!
Ok, not really, he had a little run in with Chopper his favorite cat that I brought to our family. She was jumping from the table to the hutch and he was bending over to fill their food bowls and she slipped and grabbed a hold of the side of his face to catch herself. Just a big accident, this picture he took a few minutes after it happened and sent to me because I wasn't there. You can see it came really close to his eye, underneath hhis left eye, a few more centimeters and could have been bad news for his pretty pretty eyeballs. :)

FINALLY it's on the market
After almost two months, well, actually longer than that, after a very long long time of putting all our energy into fixing up my old house it is now on the market! This past weekend was brutal, thank you to all that came over and pitched in! Brandon put in the most time and he should be given some sort of award. Hopefully a quick sale so we can pay off all our debt (well, I have most of the debt) with the equity. :) I left on Sunday to come down to sunny California and I'll be here all week for work training. It's nice to get some personal time in, but I miss Brandon and the dogs, most definitely.
Anyways, here are the pictures our realtor took and are up on the listing for the house. I know it may not look like much to some who have never seen the house, but it looks AMAZING to those who have spent any time over there. I had the house for 7 years and definitely did some great updates, but we made some great improvements over the last few months and hopefully that will make it sell quickly in this market.
Thanks again to Mark and Teri for putting a ton of their time into refinishing the hardwood floors, now that's three floors under your belt, when we starting our business? :)
Of course, if anyone knows anyone looking to buy a house in North Portland, let us know! :)
