Clyde

I snapped some pics of Clyde while doing hydrotherapy yesterday at K-9 Rehab. Poor guy, he has always hated water, but he seems to be giving it his all. Not walking yet, but trying!

Hunter and Clyde

It'll take me awhile to get through all our honeymoon Mexico pics, but here are some cute ones of Hunter and Clyde. He's still not walking after his surgery (almost five weeks now) so we carry him (all 180 lbs of him) around to go outside (no more pee cleaning) and spend lots of time doing his physical therapy. It's really stressful and hard, but we're hanging in there. He's going to hydrotherapy (water treadmill) now, hopefully that helps.

Hunter had some fun playing on him last week, he doesn't mind her at all. He really likes when she feeds him cheerio's or other random goodies. :)

I asked her to give him a hug and she went for his butt. It was too cute, not sure this shot actually captures the cuteness of it.

This picture is currently my desktop background, she's too cute! She's a talking-babbling-running-jumping-giggling machine. We're having sooooo much fun with her.

Halloween

I'm way behind on blog posts for all the pics I take to share with the family that watches the blog. My home computer took a dump last month and while I do have my work laptop, when I'm not working, I don't want to be on it. I'm finally taking some time and going through pics on this nice four day weekend (although I have had to and will work some more before Monday) to get caught up on photos.

Halloween...
Hunter and I went to Lina's bday party for the afternoon. Hunter didn't want to wear her geisha outfit (I got it at the goodwill before she was even born) to the party so she just had her cape on. They were too cute running around together. Lina was absolutely adorable as a zebra.

Catching up with the photos

Hunter loves blankets and hanging out underneath them!

As obsessed as Cooper is with his tennis balls, he definitely understands that when it's in Hunter's hand you don't take it away quickly. He's working on his own personal growth, being more patient. Good job, Coops.

A big group of us went to see the Blazers a few weeks ago in the nosebleeds. Jaleana, her Aunt, her sister, her Dad, Brandon, Mason, Ryan and Andy. It was really fun and the Blazers won.

Cows = meat. :(

The Allison

Last Saturday we went to an event at the new hotel/spa/restuarant in Newberg. It's fancy ($350/night)! The first of it's kind in wine country. It was a wine tasting event with lots of local wineries and food places to try all in one place. We had to go! Thanks to Grandma Ruby for babysitting. It was a beautiful day and the hotel was amazing!

Clyde the glide

The Clyde saga continued this past weekend...

Last Thursday we got him restiched up from his tumor removal surgery, he got to come home with a cone. Which I took some pictures of and then removed. He couldn't reach his incision so not sure why he even had it. But he was doing great for a few days.

Then on Sunday, all of the sudden he was having a really hard time walking. It progressed over the day and he was eventually in a lot of pain. He was able to walk to the car to take him to our vet, but once we got to the vet he lost all ability to walk. :( He was at our vet for a few days, not improving, so we took him to a neurologist. They did very spendy tests to tell us he had a ruptured disc in his neck that was pushing his spinal cord from the left to the right side. Ouch! We couldn't put him down, he is 8 years old, but he's been so healthy, and knowing there was a surgery that could fix him, that was that. We went for the surgery and $5k ish later he's on his way to recovery! It'll be a tough road, but he's getting better already, only days after surgery.

For Halloween he'll be Frankenstein! :)

He tried to stand up tonight and with all the transporting today he's wiped out. At least he's at home with us though, we're hoping that gives him the motivation to be walking in no time! Send good thoughts!

Hola amigos!

My home pc pooped out last week, blogging with pictures will be on the DL until it gets up and running again.

I think Hunter is growing daily! She's got so many teef, getting so tall, speaking all kinds of things and is just absolutely adorable. Her hair growth should kick in any day now, I hope! :)

Clyde had surgery last week to remove a cyst on the inside of his eyelid and a large fatty tumor on his chest (and get his teef cleaned while under the knife). The surgery went great, but then a week later his stiches ripped open on his chest, had to get them re-stiched this week. Poor guy.

Brandon and I go to Playa Del Carmen for our real honeymoon in two weeks!! We are getting all ready for that. We are very much looking forward to our first flying vacation together. We've driven places for vacation (san juan islands and red woods), but haven't flown. He's in for a treat with my fear of flying! I'm going to miss being away from Hunter for a whole week, but she'll have fun with Mark and Teri, probably won't even miss us. :)
