I have been driving past this horse for many years, but it wasn't until last year that I really started paying attention to him. Or maybe it was that he started paying attention to me.
This was the first picture I took of him last year. He won my heart over that day.
I've put up pictures of him on Facebook now and then and a few weeks ago decided that I'd name him Edward. My old buddy David felt that wasn't a very noble name so he suggested Karnak the Destroyer. I was open to the idea so I thought I'd see what Mr. Horse thought of it. When I was going to pick up the kids I tried it out on him. He was all the way on the other side of the field up by his house and I yelled out "KARNAK THE DESTROYER!".
In less than a minute he was over to me.
And so I presented him with his name again.
And I'm thinking that his response as seen above means that he gladly has accepted it as his name. So, it has been done, his name is now Karnak the Destroyer.
