Happy Halloween!

We hit up Baggenstos Farm in Sherwood a few weeks ago to take a little hay ride to pick out pumpkins.

They have quite a few fun things to do at their property, like stick your head through holes and make funny faces...

And run through hay mazes...

Say Hi to some goats and chickens...

The hay ride to the pumpkin patch was a treat. We even met another little kid who was more into Yo Gabba Gabba then Hunter. We didn't get a picture of him though.

Brandon helped Hunter test out quite a few different pumpkins...

She sure was picky! And adorable!

I used a pumpkin as a tripod to get a cute family shot of all of us.

Pumpkins!

Leo's Baby Shower

Thanks to all those that came out to the baby shower last weekend, it was really great to see everyone. We got some great gifts to help out when the little guy gets here. A special thanks to Teri for organizing and making another awesome diaper cake! Complete with sock monkey!

The cupcakes were delicious!

Hunter and her friend Lina spent quite a bit of time playing with her car, even Everett joined in on the action.

 Mingling people.

Cousin Everett! He's 10 months old now and completely adorable. Soon he will be running around with Hunter.
I created a game for us to play to vote on a middle name for Leo. It was a three way tie between Anson, Micheal and Mark. Although Mark was kind of a joke, apparently it was popular. I think we'll be going with Anson, which is a name from my family a few generations back (thanks to Aunt Laurie for the family tree info!)

Grandma and Hunter had some fun jumping rope with Brandon.

After most people left we turned up the music and had a little dance party with Lady Gaga.

Hunter and Gramps taking a rest but still practicing some moves.

It was a really fun time, thanks again to everyone!

Go Blazers!!!

A fun time last night at the Blazers game with Hunter, Brandon and Jaleana. Jaleana wasn't into getting her picture taken, so just us!

Hunter's first library visit

I have been seriously slacking on the blog front, but with summer slowing down and taking more time to just relax in these last few months of pregnancy I will keep this thing more updated! Promise!

In September, Hunter and I went to the Newberg library to get her a library card. They have a little kids section with toys and such so she was in heaven running around there. I had a hard time getting her to even look at the books.

She found the puppet theatre they have setup and was giving me a little show with one of the puppets.

I asked her to give me a funny face and that's what I got.

Then we found the little people and the bus. She was all over that for quite some time.

There were a handful of other kids that came in and out that she played with a bit, but I put the camera away for that time. I didn't want to look like too much of weirdo Mom taking pictures of her kid at the library.

She finally got interested in looking at some books. Barely.

We've since made a few trips to the library and she's getting more interested in picking out the books. And the DVD's. The library offers story time and other events that we definitely have to go to soon too.

Yay for libraries!
