The Pyramid

Up until now the only pyramids you could find in North America existed in Vegas. But on special days when the conditions are right, pyramids can materialize from seemingly out of no where. Here is the video from one such event

Newberg Old Fashioned Festival

Every year Newberg has an Old Fashioned Festival with a parade, carnival, pancake breakfast, vendors in the park, doggie dress up, huge fireworks display, and so much more. It's pretty cool.

We went up to the parade Saturday morning for Hunter's first parade. Last year she was there, but in my belly. That's her inside me, next to Obama. Wow, I was huge!

I can't believe it was a year ago and now she'll be 1 year old very soon, August 6th.

This starship float was pretty cool, notice in the picture after it that Teri's arm is holding up the geek "live long and prosper" sign. (I had to ask Brandon what it meant) Mark had to be sure to point that float out to Hunter for some reason.

This was on our walk back home, this house has crazy overgrowth and crap on one side that has grown into the bamboo on the street side. See the van parked in there? Crazy.

And then Saturday night after Hunter went to sleep we climbed up onto the roof to watch the fireworks display. It was even cooler being able to watch our neighbors kangaroos enjoy the fireworks too! Brandon's camera didn't get too great of pics though.

Wedding Day!

The wedding on Saturday was absolutely an amazing day! I have to thank all the people who helped get it ready, specifically Mark and Teri, the farm was beautiful! A special thanks also to Brett (Brandon's cousin), Tiff and Dave, Burns, Brad and Summer, my Mom and Aunt Jackie, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but thanks to all who helped us out.

Oh and of course thanks to David (Brandon's uncle) who delivered a wonderful ceremony and story behind the bridge and land. We'll post a copy up here once we get it from him.

Burns (his name is also Brandon, but mostly known by his last name Burns to me), and Tiff gave the sweetest speeches in the history of wedding speeches. We love both of you soooo much, thank you for being such great friends.

The whole day and night was so fun, thank you all for joining us, more pictures to come!

I was lucky to have Monday off to recover. I got to hang out with Hunter all day at home and breathe. :) I also took my car into the shop, I rear-ended someone on the way back from the airport picking up Tiff. Whoops! :)

Superbaby Hunter!

Erin got Hunter this awesome cape before Hunter was even born. I figured it'd be awhile before she was using it, but it's already something she loves playing with and wearing.

She is pretty much walking now, but needs the safety of one of your fingers with her left hand only. It's adorable, but even more adorable when she's in a diaper and a cape.

Susan and Del's wedding - June 27th

Congrats!!


Brandon's Aunt Susan was married to Del on June 27th. I didn't even get a picture of the two of them together (that Hunter sure steals all the pictures!) so I scanned in the picture above of them from their wedding info. One happy couple!

I like making cards, so I got Hunter dressed up and used this picture with a sweet message from Hunter as their wedding card. I think it's pretty darn cute!

I'm not sure who the young girl on Susan's lap below is, but Hunter went and told her that it was her turn to sit on Aunt Susan's lap. :)

And Hunter after throwing a temper tantrum about not wanting to come back inside from playing in the dirt. If you look closely you can still see tears on her face.

It was a really pretty wedding and day. Congrats again to Susan and Del!
