Saturday we went to Brandon's cousin Travis's wedding. Unfortunately we didn't get any pics of the bride and groom, but we got some other fun pics. :)

Go Blazers!
Brandon got me a Rudy bobble-head from a friend. Hunter is in love too. :)
Although, I've been a bigger fan of Lamarcus Aldridge for the last few months. I have almost talked Brandon into naming our second child (if it's a boy) Leo Lamarcus Case. I think it has a wonderful ring to it.
I hope they win tonight!

Save #1!!
This morning when I was dropping off Hunter at Mark and Teri’s I stopped to meet the new cows they just got. They get cows in the early part of the year, let them live off the land and have a really happy life on the farm, then butcher them late in the year. I am ok with this (not that I have any say in it) but it’s still sad to see the cows go. My biggest“beef” (heh) with meat eating (I’m sure most know, I’m a veggiesaurus) is the inhumane treatment of animals at factory farms and the not knowing where your meat comes from. They can put hormones and all kinds of crap in them to fatten them up and you just don’t know. Why put the unknown into your body? (I know veggies can have pesticides as well, but I gotta eat something)
Interestingly as well, the recent swine flu outbreak is being related to factory farm of pigs. So yeah, if you eat the meats, try and buy local and organic!
Anyways, I got off topic there, back to the story of #1…
Last summer I became buddies with the farm cows and we had fun hand feeding them apples.
RIP Smokey Joe and Horny (seen here).
This year I have fallen in love with #1. I just snapped some pictures below with my Iphone this morning, but I'm sure you'll see more of him in the months to come. He's the one upfront in the first picture and on the far left of the second picture. He is super friendly and I want to keep him. He can live in our backyard!

Spring time
Some photos from the past month I thought I'd share...
When Brandon was sick, I mowed the backyard for him (it was his chore, I'm an awesome wife). I decided it'd be cute to mow a message into the grass, but only thought of this when half way through mowing. So I left a giant capital 'B' in the grass, for Brandon! If you look closely you can see it, I did my best with it being my first time at lawn art. I fully expect something as equally cute when Brandon mows the lawn next. :-)

Baby friends
This past Tuesday we all went over to my friend Tonia's house. Brandon and Tonia's husband, Kevin took care of the girls while Tonia and I went out to grab some dinner and have some Mom-chat. It was a great time! The girls, Hunter and Lina, had some fun together too, as did the boys while watching the Blazers game.
Lina is 3 months younger than Hunter, but not surprisingly a bit larger than her since Hunter is the petitest baby ever. :)

We didn't seem to get any pictures of the adults, funny how that happens.

Slumber party
Last weekend Hunter and I had a slumber party over at Kelly's with Manda too. We started out the night with a little champagne. Kelly was the only brave one to open it and you can see her super cute kitchen! She remodeled herself! I didn't get a picture of the yummy foods, but we each made super healthy snacks and ate them up!
I did a little dress up with Hunter, and while I am not a fan of sailor hats (sorry, Woody!), she did look pretty cute with it on.
Manda introduced her to the texture of strawberries. She's not ready to eat them yet, but soon enough.
We had some fun playing Jenga (and playing with Hunter's finger puppets too, from Tiff!).
Tyson played with the finger puppets too. :)
We did some amateur tarot card reading, and surprisingly our individual readings hit home for each of us.
Manda whipped up a homemade avocado and honey facial that we splattered on our faces with a fork. Yes, a fork, not sure what we were thinking.

But it turned out okay and I have to say I'd love to put cucumbers on my eyes EVERY night. I had no idea how awesome it felt. Even if we looked pretty scary.
But I think Kelly probably looked the scariest! Ha! She used a regular facial, but something about the white makes it a little creepy. (Love ya, Kelly!) :)
Unfortunately Hunter fell asleep before the facials began. Although, probably couldn't have got her to sit still or keep her fingers off her face or in her mouth. Maybe we'll give that a try when she's a little older, in a few months. :)
All in all, I think adult women should have more slumber parties, it was really fun!!

Olympics
Erin was recently in Vancouver, B.C. and got Hunter a really cute hat and a book with the 2010 Vancouver mascots. She looks adorable in it, of course! Check out the mascots if you get a moment, they are super cute too!
My friend Kelly took this picture a few weeks ago when we went over to hang for dinner. I love the angle! This weekend Hunter and I are going over to Kelly's to have a girly slumber party, Manda will be joining. We're going to do homemade facials or something super silly. You bet I'll be taking pictures!
